Despised Icon began by a full-length in October 2002 « Consumed By Your Poison » Released by « Galy Records »
Befors making their EP « Syndicated Murderers » en 2004.
In January 2005, they share a Split with « Bodies in the Gears of the Apparatus »
it was released by Relapse Record.
On the 5th April 2005, they made their second full-length « The Healing Process »
Released by Century Media, Mixed by J-F Dagenais (Misery Index, Kataklysm),
Mastered by Alan Douches (Shadows Fall, The Dillinger Escape Plan) and Drawn by
Gabriel McCaughry
In 2006, their second split released by Galy Record

22 may 2007 the famous “The Ills of Modern Man” came out.
The album features gang vocals by members and ex-members of Ion
Dissonance,Beneath the Massacre, Neuraxis, Cryptopsy and more.
Like Black Dahlia Murder did, Despised Icon made a DVD
on 27th January « Montreal Assault ».

Reconstructed Media that retraces the band’s career, showing never before
seen footage of us living on the road, hanging out, partying, recording, playing
shows back in the day and more!”
on the 22th september 2009, their new album « Day of Mourning »comes out.
